It’s recorded over 2 months time on various locations of Gothenburg and they have once again let Magnus Lindberg (Cult of Luna fame) mix and master it and Staffan Larsson have once again been illustrating and putting together the album art – and as you can see – it looks truly awesome as always.

Once again on a 2xLP but this time with a full color cover artwork in the same style as the CD version. The vinyl itself with be on a clear yellow one.
The second press is limited to 500 copies – all hand numbered and comes with download codes including the song “Au revoir dear traitor” which is previously released on the Japanese CD version.

5 years later it’s officially sold out. Immanu El have grown to one of the most respected ambient pop/postrock bands in Europe and are now also conquering the states. We NEED to repress their debut album, but… All original files are missing!!! Panic – what to do?!

We thought;
Let’s get the boys into the studio again – rerecord it. Let ‘em put a modern touch on it. Immanu El have changed members over the years – maybe they can add something to the old songs?!

Said and done! Immanu El is currently in Söderköping and Studio Hufvudstaden. Once again with Kristian Karlsson (Pg Lost, Khoma) who also recorded their albums “Moen” and “In passage“. We are eagerly waiting to hear the first mixes but we believe it will once again knock us of our chairs.

There’ll also be a vinyl release by our dear affiliates over at german label Kapitän Platte out in early 2013. Stay tuned.

EF was locked up over at Svenska Grammofonstudion for almost a week. A legendary studio where many of top international bands/artists recored as well as some of Swedens best exports such as Jose Gonzales, Shout Out Louds, Millencolin and The Haunted have chosen for some of their best albums.
The band recorded almost day and night to finish in time and cooperated with Oskar Lindberg for the very first time. Oskar was nominated for two Swedish grammy last year and recorded albums with Soundtrack of our lives and I’m from Barcelona but also Swedish indie/postrock-outfit Jeniferever. We felt they were in good hands and could get some new input.
Magnus Lindberg finished the project and mixed/mastered the three songs – who also handled the “Mourning golden morning” recordings in 2009/2010.

We dare to say that this is some of the best pieces of music we’ve heard from the band – and we think it will break some new ground. Still the solid EF-pop melodies, the atmospheric soundscapes and the explosive energetic pieces to create a superb 25minutes of dynamic indie/pop/postrock/whatever.

To support the release EF will do a two week tour through parts of west Europe including Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France and Switzerland. There are still dates to be announced so stay updated to see if the band stops by in your neighbourhood.
